The MAGA Presidential candidate, criminal defendant, calls his imprisoned followers, "the J6 hostages." These "hostages" violently broke the law, assaulted police officers, and tried to overthrow our government.

In the Reedsburg Independent, there are some letter writers who are so far down the cult rabbit hole that they can't accept the facts of law or just plain facts.

People sucked into a cult do not think rationally.

No matter what credible people say or write, cultists choose to believe their self-serving, lying cult leaders.

American heroes who honorably served our nation may say what the cult leader is and what he has done and said, but cult followers will say the heroes' statements are "alleged."

Truth matters; facts matter.

The long history of cults shows that blindly believing lies can end with death or imprisonment. History is repeating with the "J6 hostages."
