Our country must work together toward respect and equality for all Americans. We all need to reflect on our founding values: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, ..."

President Biden has signed much legislation designed to assist all Americans and, if re-elected, will work to bring the country together around American values. He has signed many laws voted for by both Republican and Democratic Congress members. These include the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, the PACT Act to help veterans, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the Postal Service Reform Act, and the CHIPS Act, among others.

We need to re-elect Pres. Biden and elect a Democratic Congress. They must pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to strengthen our democracy and provide equal opportunity for all Americans to participate in our self-government.

Then America needs an American Family Act that includes refundable child tax credits, day care support, paid family & sick leave, raised minimum wage, and other measures to reduce stress on families and provide equal opportunity to all American families, especially children.
