Historian Timothy Snyder emphasizes the point that everyone should resist authoritarianism to prevent it or end it.
Donald Trump says there is an "enemy within." He is correct. The enemy is he. He is waging war against our cities.
On January 6, he sent his thugs to sack Washington DC. Four years later, the president pardoned all his convicted criminals.
How many of those pardoned criminals are on the high-priced ICE payroll?
Stephen Miller says the troops and ICE are free to use their weapons on US citizens. Pete Hegseth says they do not need to follow any international rules of engagement.
It appears Trump's Banana Republic Supreme Court backs Trump's chaos all the way. They uphold racial profiling. US citizens who have brown skin or do not speak perfect English may be stopped by badge-less, masked men for that alone.
The Banana Court restricts voting rights and continues to uphold second-class citizenship for the brown-skinned citizens. The Banana Court ignores the Constitution and rules that "the enemy within" is not an insurrectionist and is indeed above the law as all kings and dictators are above the law.
ICE shot one or two people and caused at least one to fall off a roof. Many men, women, and children are afraid.
Trump says US cities should be training grounds for the military. He sends the military into our cities. No one has stopped him yet. The Banana Court will probably again rule in the King's favor.
It might not look like it, but God is in control. Many people will do what is right. Love your neighbor as yourself.
